Featuring a Bonsack Gallery opening for beadist Jan Schwab Huling ’72, food trucks and drinks in the Quad, entertainment, and more!
Over 600 people joined us for the Centennial Launch Party on Friday, October 7, which began with beadist Jan Schwab Huling’s ’72 art show, Jiggity Jig, in the Bonsack Gallery and then moved into the Quad with food trucks and fire pits.
There was also a special Centennial-themed program in Haertter Hall that highlighted our school’s history, announced our Centennial goal of 100 scholarships and a $100 million endowment, and showcased special performances from our talented community — Kennedy Holmes ’23, Jacob Tuteur ’23, renowned jazz pianist and past parent Peter Martin and the Burroughs men’s acapella group. The group sang a special arrangement by Jerry Estes (Music) of John Hartford’s ’56 “Gentle on My Mind” alongside violinist Ginna Doyle ’13 and the faculty band (Drew Battles, Jerry Estes, Anita Hagerman and Taylor Pietz).
