Centennial Finale Weekend
Things to Know Before You Go

Our Centennial Finale is just a few weeks away! Here is some information to help you plan your weekend. Please note, prior reservations are required to attend all of our events on October 6 & 7. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

There will be NO PARKING on campus for any event on October 6 and 7.

Please use Uber/Lyft or take a complimentary shuttle from our satellite parking location. Check-in will occur where you park or get dropped off. Remember to allow extra time for your transportation.

Uber/Lyft/Drop-off:

  • Direct your driver to our Clayton Road entrance (9243 Clayton Road, 63124).

Satellite Parking: Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from our satellite parking lot at Enterprise Holdings (600 Corporate Park Drive, Clayton, MO). Shuttles will run approximately every 30 minutes.

  • On Friday, October 6, shuttles will begin loading at 4 pm; last pickup from JBS will be at 9 pm.
  • On Saturday, October 7, shuttles will begin loading at 9:30 am; last daytime pickup from JBS will be at 1 pm. Shuttles will resume at 4 pm; last pickup from JBS will be at 10 pm. 
  • During our Alumni Open House and Family Fun, shuttle buses will be able to accommodate strollers.


Accessible Parking:
 Guests who have requested accessible parking will receive additional information via email about parking and drop-off. If you need accessible parking, please email centennial@jburroughs.org.

Please complete this brief survey about your parking plans so we can plan accordingly based on the preferences of our guests.

*Alums from the classes of 2003 and 2008, please check your email for information about parking during your on-campus reunions.

SEATING

On Friday, October 6, seating for the Sam Altman ’03 event in the field house will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5 pm, the program begins at 6 pm, and campus will close at 9 pm.

On Saturday, October 7, seating for our Centennial Program in the field house will be assigned. Doors open at 5 pm, the program begins at 6 pm, and campus will close at 10 pm. Please be on the lookout for an email on Friday, September 29, with more information about seating assignments.

FOOD & DRINK

On Friday, October 6, there will be light refreshments.

On Saturday, October 7, food trucks will be available during the Alumni Open House.

On the night of Saturday, October 7, you will be directed to a campus venue for a buffet dinner. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy-free options will be available.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE FOR SATURDAY NIGHT

What does “cocktail casual” mean to you? Show us Saturday night! We have planned activities on our Quadrangle (weather permitting) and in other grassy areas, so light sweaters and jackets are suggested. A coat check will not be available.
