Our Centennial book, I Stay My Haste: Burroughs at 100, features the voices of current and retired faculty revealing the essence of Burroughs through personal essays like the one by Mark Nicholas (History) posted below. Comments by alums and other faculty complement these stories. The book also includes photo spreads for each decade and random bits of history and legend. This last section includes lots of lists (major milestones, enrollment through the years, etc.), a brief unofficial history, and remembrances about some of our late iconic faculty and staff — think Skip Alverson (Doran), Bernice Curlett, Charlie Derleth, Clara Fieselmann, Robert Hill, Tom McConnell, Alice Snodgrass, Bob Sortland.
