A Conversation With Sam Altman '03 About Artificial Intelligence

As part of our Centennial Finale Weekend, OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman ’03 spoke to the Burroughs community about the evolution of artificial intelligence. His interview with current parent and trustee Bobby Dunn ’94 is available below.

Sam also spoke to students in morning assembly, when he was presented with this year’s Outstanding Alum Award.

“Sam was selected because of his pioneering work in the tech world,” said JBS Alumni Board president Stephanie Park Zwicker ’94. “His ability to foresee trends, his sense of the global challenges that face us, and his social conscience have earned him the distinction of being one of the most influential and intriguing people of our time.”
